ANNUAL GRADUATION CEREMONY CELEBRATES STUDENT SUCCESS
Vuselela TVET College proudly hosted its Annual Graduation Ceremony on 13 and 14 May 2026 at City on a Hill Church in Klerksdorp. The ceremony celebrated the academic achievements of graduates who successfully completed their studies in various programmes offered by the College.
The prestigious event brought together graduates, their families and friends, members of the College Council, Academic Board members, management and staff of Vuselela TVET College, representatives from Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs), the Institutional Student Representative Council (ISRC), as well as sponsors from Nedbank and ABSA Bank.
The ceremony featured two distinguished guest speakers. On 13 May 2026, graduates were addressed by Dr Judas Mokoena, a respected public sector leader and human capital development specialist. Dr Mokoena currently serves as a Specialist in Municipal Institutional Support at the Gauteng Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, where he leads strategic initiatives in skills development, performance management, and institutional capacity building. He holds a Doctorate in Human Resources Management.
On 14 May 2026, graduates were addressed by Mr Nkosinathi Tom, a higher education leader, strategist, and governance practitioner. Mr Tom currently serves as Director: Strategic Partnerships and Special Projects in the Office of the Vice-Chancellor at North-West University. He holds a Master of Business Administration and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in International Relations.
A total of 376 graduates were conferred during the two-day ceremony. Of these, 240 students graduated with NC(V) Level 4 certificates, 31 students qualified as artisans, and 105 students received their National Diplomas.
The College also recognised outstanding academic achievement among students who demonstrated exceptional performance throughout their studies. To qualify for a Best Academic Achiever Award, students were required to have passed all seven subjects at each level in a single examination sitting and achieve an overall average of at least 70% across their three years of study.

A special highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of the Principal’s Award to KS Motsima, who achieved the highest overall average among all NC(V) students across Vuselela TVET College. Her outstanding academic performance and dedication to excellence earned her this prestigious recognition.
The Annual Graduation Ceremony served as a proud celebration of perseverance, commitment, and academic excellence. Vuselela TVET College congratulates all graduates on their achievements and wishes them every success as they embark on the next chapter of their professional and personal journeys.
