Tourism N4-N6

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

NC(V) Level 4 Certificate

OR

Equivalent NQF Level 4 occupational qualification

OR

APS score of 24, using double the English, Tourism and Geography and the two next best subjects of NSC/N3 (excluding Life Orientation)

ENROLMENT DATE

January and July of each year.

DURATION OF QUALIFICATION

Each level takes 6 months full-time to complete (a total of 18 months to complete the theory) and then 18 months’ practical experience in an office/applicable environment obtaining experience in at least two (2) of the subjects done in N6.

QUALIFICATION

A National N6 certificate is awarded on successful completion of N6. A National Diploma in Tourism is awarded on successful completion of the 18 months of practical experience by Umalusi. Apply for a National Diploma at the Campus where they have studied.
